A pair of apprentices based close to Milton Keynes have celebrated success after making the decision to work on the railway. 

Passengers are reminded that a full upgrade of Nunthorpe level crossing means buses replace trains between Middlesbrough and Whitby next week (23-27 February).

Repairs to the railway at Ockley have been completed following a landslip on an embankment that left one of the tracks hanging in mid-air, meaning that the railway between Horsham and Dorking will reopen to trains as expected, on Monday 16^th February.
