NEXT MONTH: Passengers urged to plan ahead this Easter as essential engineering work takes place across the railway in south London, Kent and Sussex
While 90% of the railway remains open over Easter, Network Rail will carry out essential engineering work on parts of the network in the south east.

Railway 200: Unique touring exhibition train comes to Sussex this July

Network Rail signs landmark collaborative agreement with the Bluebell Railway

Landslip repairs completed ahead of schedule on railway between Three Bridges and Gatwick Airport
- The first phase of work to repair a significant landslip between Three Bridges and Gatwick on the busy Brighton Main Line has been completed ahead of schedule.
- Most train services have already restarted this morning (Thursday) and teams are working to restore the remainder on Friday morning, by moving trains back into position.

ONE MONTH TO GO: Vital engineering work near Shalford, Surrey to close North Downs Line between Guildford and Gatwick Airport
From Saturday 1 February to Sunday 16 February, buses will replace trains between Guildford and Gatwick Airport while Network Rail engineers complete a number of critical upgrades on the North Downs line for the continued safe and reliable running of the railway.
