Strikes to limit trains at Manchester Piccadilly this Saturday during Pride
- Passengers are being warned of limited trains on Saturday 26 August due to strike action by staff at multiple train operators
- A special timetable will be in place with only six trains per hour leaving Manchester Piccadilly
- Many routes will see no trains at all - those which do run will start later from 7:30am and finish by 6.30pm
- People travelling into the city for Manchester Pride are being warned not to get caught out with trains finishing much earlier than usual
- Passengers are advised that trains which are running will be extremely busy, and to plan ahead using National Rail Enquiries

REMINDER: Rail passengers urged to check before travelling ahead of August bank holiday
- The majority of the rail network will be open as usual over the forthcoming August bank holiday weekend (Sat 26th to Monday 28th August), however, industrial action means services in England and some cross-border journeys into Scotland and Wales will be significantly disrupted on Saturday 26 August.
- As the level of disruption will vary across the country, passengers should check their travel arrangements in advance. Timetables are now live, so those travelling over the bank holiday can check the status of their journey at nationalrail.co.uk or with their train operator
