Passengers are reminded that digital signalling work will affect East Coast Main Line journeys on the August bank holiday weekend.

Moorgate Halt level crossing in Uppermill, Saddleworth will temporarily close from Saturday 30 August for six months as part of the multi-billion-pound Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU).

Customers are being urged to plan ahead as transformational work to modernise the railway across Huddersfield and Deighton gets underway, bringing significant improvements to journeys across the North.
