Teamwork makes the dream work: Network Rail recognised for Feltham to Wokingham resignalling programme at National Rail Awards
Network Rail, alongside AtkinsRéalis and Global Rail Construction, were honoured at the National Rail Awards last night, winning the Outstanding Teamwork Award for their collaboration on the Feltham to Wokingham Resignalling Programme.
TWO WEEKS TO GO: Heart of Wessex line to close between Weymouth and Castle Cary for vital track replacement work
Vital track replacement work in Thornford, Dorset, will mean that the Heart of Wessex Line between Castle Cary and Weymouth will be closed with buses replacing trains from Monday 23 September to Sunday 29 September.

Network Rail have been supporting the Swanage Railway, a heritage line in Dorset, by providing a Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) to help treat the railway and keep it weed-free
STARTING TOMORROW: Island Line and Ryde Pier to close for vital maintenance
- The Island Line will close from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin between Friday 6 September and Sunday 6 October for vital maintenance
- Ryde Pier will close from Friday 6 September 2024 until May 2025 while life extension work continues
- One train every 30 minutes will operate between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin from Monday 7 October to early May 2025
- Rail replacement bus services will operate during both closures

Passengers with impaired mobility or those travelling with luggage, children or bicycles can now benefit from step-free access at Walton-on-Thames station after Network Rail completed accessibility upgrades.

London Waterloo Station awarded Autism Friendly Award
Network Rail at London’s Waterloo station has been granted the Autism Friendly Award by the National Autistic Society, the UK’s leading charity for autistic people. The station is the first Network Rail managed station to receive this award.
