Storm Eunice has caused widespread damage across Anglia’s rail network resulting in closures while Network Rail response teams clears debris and carries out repairs.

Rail companies across Anglia are urging customers planning to travel on Friday to reconsider their plans after amber and yellow warnings were issued for Storm Eunice, with strong winds expected to affect much of the UK.

Network Rail is set to start upgrade works between Maryland and Forest Gate to increase reliability for Greater Anglia and TfL Rail passengers on the line into and out of Liverpool Street.
