Around 20% of rail services will be able to run on Network Rail’s Western route on the upcoming strike days with most trains starting later and finishing much earlier than usual - between 7.30am and 6.30pm 

Passengers at Bristol Temple Meads will benefit from more toilets after a bathroom last seen in the 1990s was rediscovered, given a huge refurbishment and now reopened.

Network Rail has worked with Sampford Courtenay Parish Council in Devon to brighten up the platform of the local station, which is currently not used for passenger services, and provide space for community garden planters while creating a more pleasant view for people passing through on trips to and from Okehampton.
