Network Rail engineers are working round-the-clock to rebuild a stretch of railway near Lewisham damaged by a derailed freight train on Tuesday.

Network Rail’s orange army has completed a £1m flood-protection scheme under the West Coast main line at Chorley in Lancashire.

Network Rail and South West Trains have today (26 January) published detailed train service information to help passengers plan their journeys during the major upgrades taking place at London Waterloo this August as part of Network Rail’s Railway Upgrade Plan.
