Passengers using Whitton station will now benefit from £5 million worth of upgrades at their station, after Network Rail’s route managing director, Becky Lumlock, officially marked the completion of the final phase of the upgrade – a new, fully-accessible footbridge – alongside MP for Twickenham, Dr Tania Mathias, and representatives from Richmond Borough Council, the Rugby Football Union and South West Trains.
