New lifts at Anniesland station are now open, providing step-free access to passengers.

Lift shafts have been successfully installed at Tilehurst station near Reading as Network Rail’s project to improve accessibility moves closer to completion.

Network Rail and the Department for Transport have today (Friday 4 October) announced a five-point plan that aims to improve the functioning of Euston station and deliver a better passenger experience while it undergoes longer-term design changes.

The application window for the first £175,000 TRU Community Fund is now closed, with almost 300 grant applications submitted in total.
