With the start of the school summer holidays, Network Rail is reminding parents and children of the dangers of trespassing on the railway, following the release of the latest figures which highlights an increase in the number of trespass incidents.

From Monday 24 to Friday 28 July inclusive, buses will replace South Western Railway (SWR) train services between Guildford and Petersfield while the line is closed to enable Network Rail engineers to complete a range of vital upgrades to help improve the reliability of this important stretch of railway.

This Saturday (15 July) passengers at Reading station will be treated to fabulous live music courtesy of the Aldworth Philharmonic Orchestra (APO), who’ll be performing Beethoven’s Symphony No.5 alongside three famous marches as part of ‘Beethoven on the Bridge’, which sees APO return to the station’s transfer deck for the first time since the pandemic.
