Storm Ciara resulted in strong winds, intense rainfall and flooding across Wales over the weekend. This extreme weather event caused damage to the Cambrian Line and passengers are being urged to check journeys before they travel.

Storm Ciara, which bought 90mph winds, extreme rainfall, and flooding across Wales, has caused extensive damage on the Conwy Valley Line, north of Llanrwst.

Network Rail and Transport for Wales have issued joint information ahead of Storm Ciara, which is expected to bring strong winds and heavy rain to the Wales and Borders route this weekend.
