Newcastle Road has re-opened and weekend train services between Shrewsbury and Crewe have resumed as normal, following the successful completion of renewal work to Newcastle Road level crossing in Nantwich.

Haverfordwest residents are reminded that essential work to replace Pembroke Road railway bridge will be completed later this month.

Nantwich residents and rail passengers are reminded of the temporary closure Newcastle Road level crossing in January, as Network Rail team deliver essential renewal work to the crossing.

Network Rail will begin the second and final phase of refurbishment work to Caerleon Road railway bridge on Friday 4 January.

Passengers travelling between Newport and Bristol and between Newport and Gloucester are reminded to check before travelling this Christmas and New Year, as Network Rail engineers work around the clock to modernise the South Wales Main Line.

Shrewsbury residents and station users are reminded that work to refurbish Dana Footbridge will begin on Friday 14 December 2018. During the essential refurbishment work, the footbridge will be closed to pedestrians, with a diversion route in place via Castle Gates and Howard Street.

Network Rail will deliver the next stage of the Abergavenny Station footbridge refurbishment scheme from Monday 3 December 2018.
