Network Rail today announced that Jeremy Westlake will join the company as chief financial officer on 15 February.

Network Rail and Great Western Railway are warning passengers to check before they travel before heading for the station on Monday as Storm Imogen sweeps into the South West of England.

Last year, it received more than 3,500 applications for the scheme. Apprentices will be part of the 20,000-strong orange army of front line engineers and technicians who fix and maintain the rail infrastructure, enabling 1.6 billion journeys every year.
