At least 150 young people looking to move full steam ahead into the workplace will be given advice by rail industry employees as a partnership between Network Rail and Barnardo’s enters its final year.

Visitors to four of Network Rail’s managed stations will soon be able to view some of the most breathtaking images of landscapes from across the UK.

The infrastructure company, which owns, manages and develops Britain’s railway, has begun the process to let the next generation of track infrastructure contracts.

Following visual inspections this morning we can confirm that the railway between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren sustained damage last night as a result of Storm Emma. 

A significant number of Carillion’s Network Rail contracts have today been acquired by Amey Rail Limited, after the company went into liquidation last month. The successful sale provides reassurance to many in the rail industry and continuity for projects around the country.
