In celebration of 200 years of railway history, Network Rail is offering exclusive tours at London Waterloo, London Victoria, and London Bridge stations. These tours, led by renowned railway historian Rachel Kolsky, will take you on a journey through time, revealing the fascinating development of these iconic stations.

A £10m programme of repair work to the Blackheath tunnel by Network Rail means that train services will be diverted via Greenwich.

While 90% of the railway remains open over Easter, Network Rail will carry out essential engineering work on parts of the network in the south east.

• Inspiration will also visit Waterloo station (18-19 July) and Bluebell Railway (23-29 July) across Network Rail’s Southern region.

The railway in Kent, East Sussex and South East London has kicked off a year of celebration marking the 200^th anniversary of the railway with an event at Deptford – the oldest railway station in London.

No trains will run to or from Charing Cross, Waterloo East and Cannon Street as work to install a new signalling system in the heavily-used Lewisham area gets fully underway this weekend, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January.
