Network Rail has partnered with LNER, Northern, TransPennine Express and Ganymede to host a two-week extensive programme at Leeds station promoting careers in rail for women.

Passengers are being advised to plan ahead this festive period as vital engineering work will be taking place to improve reliability for passengers.

This Sunday (29 September) changes to services will be in place as TRU completes major upgrade work across two sections of the route from Huddersfield to Dewsbury and Leeds to York.

Rail passengers are being advised to check before they travel and plan ahead over the next two weekends as multi-million-pound Midland Main Line upgrades continue and buses replace trains.

Rail passengers travelling between Newcastle and Edinburgh are being urged to check their journey before travelling as three weekends of track and drainage work begin on the East Coast Main Line this Saturday (14 September).
