Network Rail is urging parents to warn their children about the dangers of trespassing on the railway as shocking CCTV footage shows three teenagers risking their lives by accessing the tracks via a level crossing near Leeds.

Network Rail is urging passengers who have to travel over the next two weekends to check their journeys, as vital work continues on the £1.5billion Midland Main Line Upgrade.

Network Rail marked the opening of a £14million depot in Doncaster yesterday (Tuesday, 7 July) which will bring highly skilled teams across the borough together. It will also help to boost the economy in the town which is famous for its railway history.

Network Rail and ilke Homes have announced a significant investment which will see 40 modular homes built on a brownfield site next to Beeston railway station.

Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen has announced a £35million transformation of Middlesbrough Station to deliver more train services to the town, including the first direct rail link to London in decades.  

A new multi-million-pound station in County Durham has opened to passengers.

Network Rail is continuing with work on a £1.5billion upgrade of the Midland Main Line which will improve journeys for all those using the route. 

Next month, Network Rail will begin a major project to upgrade all of the lifts at Luton Airport Parkway station in a £900,000 investment which will make them more reliable.
