Billion-pound plans to improve rail travel to and from London have progressed further with critical work taking place over the weekend to prepare for a digital future.

Today (Friday, 23 June) is International Women in Engineering Day (IWED) and three female engineers are encouraging more women to consider a career in the rail industry.
