Passengers are to benefit from a complete overhaul of the footbridge at Harrow and Wealdstone station in London.

Five new regional managing directors were announced today as a key part in Network Rail’s evolution to a more nimble, customer-focused company that puts passengers first.

Passengers are being advised to plan their journeys ahead of the late May bank holiday with planned engineering work taking place on the West Coast main line.

An overgrown railway siding at Eastbourne has been brought back into use by recycling track removed during the successful Three Bridges to Brighton blockade in February.

Network Rail South East has today unveiled its 50th railway bridge mural – this time of Shakespearean legend Richard Burbage on the 400^th anniversary of the thespian’s death.

Network Rail engineers have successfully reached a major milestone in the reconstruction of two road bridges in Northamptonshire, as part of the Midland Main Line Upgrade.
