A 10-week programme to renew track at Glasgow Central's platform 1 is progressing well.

Network Rail is inviting residents in Alexandra Palace and Hadley Wood to find out more about vegetation management work that is taking place on the railway.

A community in Ty Ddu, Radnorshire, are now benefitting from an improved and safer level crossing after Network Rail installed new miniature stop lights – the first of its kind on the Heart of Wales line.  

Beginning next month, Network Rail will be carrying out vital vegetation management work on a 5-mile stretch of line between Leeds and Outwood. 

From Saturday 29 April to Monday 1 May customers are being asked to check before they travel as buses replace trains across parts of Berkshire and Hampshire.

Passengers travelling between Huddersfield and Leeds are being reminded to check before they travel on 6-7 May and 13-14 May as major upgrades continue at Morley station.

Passengers and local residents are being invited to find out more about vital Lichfield Trent Valley station upgrades starting this summer.

Much of the railway network is open over the May bank holiday and Coronation weekend across the Anglia region. But with major station and renewals projects taking place, we urge passengers to check before travelling as some engineering work will affect the main lines at Cambridge, Chelmsford and on the Rainham and Ockendon lines in Essex.
