The first of five consecutive weekends of work at Chislehurst, south east London, has been completed successfully and safely by Network Rail.

As many as 88 jobs are set to be created by Network Rail in Derby as part of the organisation’s Railway Upgrade Plan in the East Midlands.

Network Rail is carrying out emergency work to repair the railway between Buxton and Hazel Grove after heavy rain last weekend caused significant damage to the track and embankment.
