Passengers planning to use train services in South Wales between April 23 and May 25 are being urged to check five days before they travel, ahead of essential modernisation work between the Severn Tunnel and Cardiff, which forms part of Network Rail’s Railway Upgrade Plan for Wales.

Network Rail engineers work round-the-clock to reopen Horsham-Dorking line following landslip
Network Rail engineers have worked through the night to remove more than 20 tonnes of debris from the railway after a landslip at Holmwood in Surrey caused the line to be closed between Horsham and Dorking.
Railway neighbours reminded of essential work to Butts Hill Road bridge
Residents of Woodley in Berkshire are reminded that a temporary road closure will be in place from 14 April to 18 August in order for Network Rail to undertake essential work to Butts Hill Road Bridge. Three way traffic lights will be in operation, and will remain in place until the road is closed later in the year. Please bear with us while the road is closed and diversions are in place.
