Passengers are being thanked for their patience after work to replace a railway bridge between Stoke-on-Trent and Derby over the weekend was delayed by high winds.

Network Rail is advising that buses will replace trains between Stirling and Alloa on Sunday May 5 while the renovated Stirling station footbridge will be lifted back into position over the May Bank holiday weekend.
