Since the beginning of 2020, Network Rail has seen an increase in level crossing misuse around South West Wales, including a collision between a car and a moving train

Sustainably sourced seats have been installed by Network Rail at Liverpool Street, almost doubling the seating capacity at the station.

Network Rail is reminding passengers to check before they travel ahead of planned engineering works at Leeds station this Saturday and Sunday which will mean buses are used to ensure passengers can still get to where they need to go.  

A major road bridge which spans the railway between Crewe and Chester has reopened following a five-month revamp to make it more reliable for road users above and rail passengers below.

Railway neighbours in Whitstable, Kent, will have seen and heard the sounds of hard work the past few weeks as Network Rail and its contractors continue a project to clear vegetation from tracks through the town.

Network Rail is warning people to use level crossings safely, after a driver went through the red lights and hit a barrier in Cottingham yesterday morning. (Thursday 22 October)

Network Rail engineers will be rebuilding a crucial section of West Sussex’s railway next year, including a nine day period when there will be no trains at all through Horsham.
