Hackney Council, Network Rail and Transport for London (TfL) have come together to enable the installation of a ground-breaking exhibition of photographs and stories under Hackney Central railway bridge.

Passengers travelling to and from Stroud will notice a difference at the station after a team of volunteers worked to clean-up the platform during Community Rail Week.

London North Eastern Railway (LNER) and Network Rail have worked together to enable a special weekend timetable with larger trains during the Lincoln Christmas Market, with direct services from locations including Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness.

Passengers will now have smoother and more reliable journeys between Manchester and Leeds after a major track upgrade inside one of the world’s oldest railway tunnels.

Network Rail is managing and delivering station accessibility enhancements as part of the Department for Transport’s Access for All programme. Work will begin on the 1 November 2021 with completion in Autumn 2022.
