Network Rail is reminding customers to plan ahead and allow plenty of time as buses replace South Western Railway (SWR), Great Western Railway (GWR) and Southern trains between Southampton Central and Havant, Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour this February half term.

In February, Network Rail engineers will be working to upgrade part of the East Coast Main Line through Darlington to deliver smoother and more reliable journeys for passengers.

Scotland’s Railway will be closing many lines across the country from 19:00 on Sunday night (January 21) as Storm Isha brings severe weather conditions to all parts of the network.
