Network Rail has completed a £4 million upgrade at Waterloo station this Easter, as part of the £800 million Waterloo & South West Upgrade to boost capacity at the station by 30% by 2018.

Passengers planning to travel over the Easter bank holiday weekend are being reminded to check before they travel while Network Rail invests £4 million in making the railway in south London more reliable.

Passengers planning to travel between Poole and Wareham over the Easter bank holiday weekend (14-17 April) , or the weekend of the 22 & 23 April, are being reminded to check before they travel while Network Rail upgrades the railway’s sea defences in Holes Bay, Poole Harbour.

Passengers will soon benefit from a more reliable railway after Network Rail completed the first of several track upgrades at Guildford station, taking place in April and May.
