Network Rail completes railway reliability improvements between Yeovil Pen Mill and Weymouth
Network Rail is thanking customers and local residents for their patience and understanding following a five-day closure of the Heart of Wessex line between Yeovil Pen Mill and Weymouth while engineers completed key upgrades to bring smoother and more reliable journeys for customers.

South Western Railway and Network Rail team up with Basingstoke artist Sian Storey to paint new and vibrant station mural
- Mural on Clifton Terrace depicts a view of London through a Hampshire hedgerow
- Local artist Sian Storey painted the mural which features plants and animals native to Hampshire and a South Western Railway train in pride livery
- South Western Railway funded the artwork while Network Rail provided materials and labour in a collaborative project
