Network Rail will soon begin refurbishing Caerleon Road railway bridge in Newport as part of its Railway Upgrade Plan. The local community is invited to a drop-in event to find out more.

Network Rail celebrated the completion of a multi-million-pound project to improve rail safety in Talerddig on Friday 22 June, following significant investment by both UK and Welsh Governments.

Passengers planning to use train services in South Wales between 16 June and 6 July are being urged to check before they travel, ahead of the next phase of modernisation work between Bristol and Cardiff.

Network Rail engineers have completed track upgrade work in Abergele as part of the £50m North Wales railway upgrade project, providing a more reliable service for passengers.

A temporary road closure will be in place at Station Road in Hele, Devon, from Tuesday 29 May as Network Rail is planning to carry out a flood resilience project in the area. Flooding has been a long standing problem in and around Hele, and a scheme has been developed which will not only reduce the risk of flooding to the railway, but also to nearby homes and businesses.
