Passengers to see transformation of rail services as modernisation of the South Wales mainline continues
In December passengers using the South Wales mainline will see a transformation of their rail services as GWR’s biggest timetable change since 1976 comes into effect.

National Rail Passenger Survey results place Western route top of the class
New figures out today show that overall passenger satisfaction on Network Rail’s Western route has improved by four percentage points since last year, making Western the top scoring route in the country with a passenger satisfaction score of 86%.

- The plans include improved leisure access and amenities including new, fully accessible, coastal walking and cycling routes
