Network Rail engineers will soon complete the first phase in the project to electrify the railway lines linking Stirling, Dunblane and Alloa to the main Glasgow-Edinburgh route.

A new £46m train depot is to be built in Wigan as part of the Great North Rail Project.

Network Rail engineers will be working around-the-clock from mid-May to deliver a multi-million-pound upgrade to the railway between Aberdeen and Dyce.
