The London Transport Museum plays host to an exhibition which shows how the ambitious 10-year £7bn government sponsored Thameslink Programme has transformed the route and improved north-south travel through London.

Network Rail has launched the third procurement in its major digital railway transformation programme on the East Coast Main Line (ECML). The company is seeking a traffic management partner to work within its London North Eastern and East Midlands (LNE & EM) route on the first inter-city development and deployment of modern in-cab signalling.

With just five days until major engineering work on the West Coast main line, Network Rail is urging passengers to check before they travel this late May bank holiday.

Network Rail will be carrying out work to remove trees and vegetation between Haymarket and Dalmeny between now and August.
