The future of a Victorian-built railway footbridge has been secured for passengers in Derbyshire.

Innova, the partnership between Network Rail Property (NRP) and a UK subsidiary of IJM Land Berhad, have secured the opportunity to promote and develop eight sites across four London boroughs: Brent, Camden, Islington and Westminster.

Network Rail is urging level crossing users to take extra care following a timetable change that will see more trains running on the line between Cardiff and Cheltenham, as well as changes to the timings of services throughout the day.

Rail passengers are being advised to plan ahead and check for journey updates while multi-million-pound Midland Main Line upgrades continue.

Building of a new £23m Eastern Entrance at Bristol Temple Meads station is moving forward at pace, with the structure’s frame now complete.

The majority of the railway across Anglia will be open this late May bank holiday but passengers are being encouraged to continue to check their journey plans before travelling as engineering work will take place.
