Lodge Road Bridge in Caerleon is being refurbished as part of the Network Rail’s Railway Upgrade Plan to provide a bigger, better, more reliable railway for passengers and businesses.

Network Rail Consulting, a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Rail – the owner and operator of Britain’s railway infrastructure – has appointed Jason Wassermann as its new regional director for the Middle East.

A significantly reduced service will continue to run to and from London Bridge for the rest of the day and evening as Network Rail engineers continue to fix the hole at Forest Hill in south London.

• Investment to help improve reliability and punctuality of trains through the Banbury area
• Journeys through the Oxford area also affected by upgrade work at Hinksey between Saturday 30 July and Sunday 14 August
