School children were given potentially life-saving lessons at the grounds of Shrewsbury Town FC as they learned about rail safety and the dangers of trespassing on tracks.

Network Rail has confirmed that the railway line between Leamington Spa and Banbury will reopen by Easter (Thursday 2 April).

The school attended by Olivia Bazlinton and Charlie Thompson, who were killed at a level crossing in Elsenham in 2005, has worked with Network Rail to create a new safety film to help raise awareness of the dangers at level crossings and how to stay safe.
