Public events to showcase plans to close Cambridgeshire level crossings
People across Cambridgeshire are being invited to three consultation events in March, Ely and Cambridge to see Network Rail’s initial plans to potentially close or change the use of 33 level crossings across the county by altering the public Rights of Way network.

Gospel Oak to Barking line closure starts 4 June
Customers and local residents are being reminded that major upgrade work to the London Overground route between Gospel Oak and Barking will result in a phased closure starting Saturday 4 June 2016, as part of Network Rail's Railway Upgrade Plan. In total an eight month closure of the railway is needed to carry out this vital work.

Reminder that investment in bigger, better railway continues on East Coast Main Line over spring bank holiday weekend
Rail passengers can look forward to better journeys as Network Rail’s work to improve and upgrade the railway continues over the spring bank holiday weekend (28-30 May). Engineers will be working around the clock to carry out improvements to the rail depot at Hornsey as part of a project to provide more rail connections into the depot ready for new trains that Great Northern is introducing. It is part of the Thameslink Programme transforming north-south travel through London and improving connections to give passengers better travel options to more destinations.
