One year on from the day which changed their lives, Hampshire teenager Tegan Stapleton and her mum, Sasha Mullings, are telling their story to warn young people of the potentially devastating and wide-reaching consequences of trespassing on the railway.

Network Rail is carrying out vital maintenance work on the Severn Beach line in Bristol during July and August with work starting this weekend to ensure the continued safe and smooth running of the railway.

A road closed for the renewal of an important railway bridge which serves Liverpool Freight Terminal has officially reopened today (Friday 28 June).

Residents and motorists in Poynton near Stockport are being reminded that a major upgrade to a road bridge over the railway in Cheshire starts on Friday 5 July.
