Network Rail has released new figures which show that a bridge in Wimbledon, South West London was the second most-struck structure in the UK over the past year.

Bakerloo line and London Overground passengers are being advised of essential railway upgrades which will impact journeys in the run up to Christmas.

New figures released by Network Rail show that a bridge in Slough, Berkshire, was the eighth most-struck bridge in the UK over the past year.
