Network Rail is improving safety for pedestrians in Stroud by installing a new railway footbridge to replace two footpath crossings at Beards Lane and Downfield Road.

Gloucester MP, Richard Graham, is to open the new improvements at the city’s station on Friday, 10 May 2013 at 11am.

Work has started on a £500,000 project to refurbish and repair the Grade II listed railway station at Frome in Somerset.

The rail industry is seeking 50 more graduates to join its unique 18-month paid work placement scheme, Track & Train.
