- Network Rail and Kent County Council have agreed measures to keep people moving
- People are still advised to change travel plans to help reduce road congestion.
- Bridge repairs will take place between 22:00 on Friday 25 October and 05:00 on Sunday 3 November

Essential work will close the railway between Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier in Dorset between Saturday 26 October and Sunday 3 November with buses replacing trains.

- New figures reveal that the Rail Suicide Prevention Programme has carried out over 2,600 potentially life-saving interventions across Network Rail’s Southern region
- Nationally, over 27,000 interventions have been made since the partnership with Samaritans and the British Transport Police began in 2010.
- Partnership helps raise awareness about suicide prevention and provides specialist training for rail industry staff to help identify and support a vulnerable person

ONE MONTH TO GO: West of England line between Axminster and Exeter to close for two weeks for important upgrade work
