Network Rail has completed an £11m, two and a half-year project to renew and replace sections of track at 59 sites along the Far North Line in the north of Scotland.

Overhead power lines on the railway around Grangemouth freight terminal will be live from Sunday (February 10).

Residents of Carnoustie are being reminded that the first of two road closures to enable work to upgrade the level crossing on the town’s Station Road will begin on Saturday night (Feb 9).
