Transport Minister Derek Mackay visited Glasgow Central station today (Monday, November 2) to help launch the ScotRail Alliance’s winter roadshow for passengers and view a specialist snow clearing train.

Bike to train connections in Edinburgh will become simpler from today (Thursday, October 29) as Waverley station opens a new bike lane into the heart of the concourse.

An £800,000 renovation programme is about to begin at Castlecary Viaduct, which carries the main Edinburgh-Glasgow line over the M80.

With the 16 derailed wagons and freight locomotive now removed from site, the recovery works at Logan, near Cumnock, are progressing to schedule.
