Traffic will soon flow better at Leeds station’s short-stay car park as Network Rail improve the layout this month.

Market Harborough station will soon have a brand-new toilet block and waiting room as work to bring better facilities for passengers has begun.

A world-class photography exhibition will be displayed at Leeds station from today (Monday 24 January) featuring artwork from this year’s Landscape Photographer of the Year competition.

Network Rail will begin major work to repair and strengthen Wellington Street railway bridge on Monday 24 January, in a project which will make sure it remains fit for purpose for years to come.

• A package of rail upgrades will make Northallerton station more accessible and bring more reliable journeys for passengers
• Limited services on 29/30 January, with no trains calling at the station on 5/6 February, and 12/13 February as Network Rail upgrades track between York and Newcastle
• Major work will also take place on a project to install lifts, meaning temporary changes to access at the station
