Network Rail has today (Friday, 6 September) apologised to residents, businesses and motorists in Doncaster as work to Armthorpe Lane bridge will take longer than originally planned.

Network Rail is asking passengers travelling on routes to/from and through Leeds to check before they travel as work to improve Leeds station continues.  

Network Rail is reminding residents in West Yorkshire that a public consultation on proposed railway upgrades begins next week.

Network Rail and train operators along the East Coast Main Line have today (Tuesday, 27 August) thanked passengers for their patience and understanding as major work took place over the Bank Holiday weekend. A full train service on the East Coast Main Line has now resumed.

Network Rail is to consult with the community and businesses in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, as plans for a major upgrade of the Transpennine line move into the next stage.

Network Rail has thanked residents in the Esk Valley for their patience as Langburn’s Bank Road in Castleton has  fully reopened.
