Shoppers at three of the country’s busiest railway stations will be able to benefit from a free Christmas wrapping service for gifts bought in station shops.

Network Rail’s present-shaped ‘Wrapland’ pop-up stand is being gifted to Glasgow Central, London Victoria and London Waterloo stations in December, providing the three quarters of a million people who use these stations each day a chance to save precious time on wrapping presents during the busy Christmas period.

Some services in the north of Scotland have resumed, following disruption caused by Storm Caroline.

• Service alterations in Southampton area this Sunday (December 10) and next Sunday (December 17)
• Upgrade work will then take place from 24 December to 1 January, with service alterations throughout
• Network Rail and South Western Railway advise passengers to plan their journey ahead and travel before Christmas Eve on Sunday 24^th December if possible
