Network Rail engineers will work around-the-clock over Easter to deliver a series of bridge works as part of the Aberdeen-Inverness (A2I) Improvement Project which will transform services in the north of Scotland.

Passengers who use the line between Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Central via Shotts are being reminded to plan ahead as the line will close for 10 days this Easter as part of a £160m project to electrify the route.

Network Rail is reminding passengers travelling between Hull, Goole and Selby this Easter to check before they travel as work takes place to upgrade the signalling as part of the Great North Rail Project

• All lines between Clapham Junction and Barnes will be closed from Good Friday (March 30) to the Bank Holiday Monday (April 2).
• No trains will serve Barnes on Sunday 1 April. Replacement bus services will be in operation.
• Services between London Waterloo, Windsor and Reading will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham from 30 March – 2 April.
• Other service alterations in place - passengers are advised to check before travelling over the Easter weekend.
