As part of the ongoing improvement work at Micklefield Station and in preparation for the Transpennine Route Upgrade, part of the Great North Rail Project, Network Rail is holding a community drop-in session to provide residents with more information.

Work is now underway on a £1.6 million project to replace bearings under the bridge deck of the Clyde viaduct.
