A new video projection screen has been unveiled to remember a long-lost architectural icon at London Euston station.

This World Environment Day (Sunday 5 June), Frome’s passengers will enjoy a cleaner, brighter station environment thanks to volunteers from Network Rail, Frome Station Friends, and The Bee Friendly Trust, who’ve worked together to build sustainable habitats for urban wildlife by installing bee-friendly planters on the disused platform, matching a pair already installed at the station.

Passengers are being advised that rail routes between London, the Midlands and North West will be open as usual during the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend (2-5 June).

This weekend, hundreds of Network Rail workers will carry out key upgrades to the railway in Yorkshire in a boost to reliability.

Workers at Dove Holes Quarry rail sidings at Peak Forest in Derbyshire are benefitting from a £600k investment to improve safety at the site as part of Network Rail's Freight Safety Improvement Portfolio (FSIP).
