Passengers reminded to check before travelling across Anglia this Christmas as major package of renewal, enhancements and maintenance work are planned.
The work over Christmas is essential to keep trains running reliably in 2023 and beyond. Passengers are being reminded to check with their train operators before they travel.

RMT strike to cause severe rail disruption on Christmas Eve
- RMT strike action is set to severely impact train services across the country on Christmas Eve and passengers are being asked to only travel if absolutely necessary, and if possible to consider travelling another day
- Trains will finish around 3.00pm with wide regional variations – both earlier and later - with some last trains departing in the morning and some locations seeing no services at all
- Those who must travel should expect disruption, and plan and check services before starting their journeys.

Level crossing users given safety reminder as new timetable changes rail services in some parts of Wales and the Borders
Network Rail is urging everyone to take extra care at level crossings from Sunday 11 December with many trains running to a new schedule.
